mistar student this is mrs. Swain today I would like to read a book to you it is one of my favorite subjects and it is by Shel Silverstein I hope you enjoy there was a tree he loved a little boy every day the boy would come and he would gather her leaves and make them into crowns and play King of the Forest and he would climb up her and swing around her branches and eat apple and I would play hide and go seek and when he was tired he would please in her shade my husband has been paid and the boy loves the tree so much very much in the tree with happy but time went by and the boy Grew Older and the tree was often alone one day the boy came to the trees and the trees said apples and play in my face and be happy I want some money I'm sorry said the tree but I have no money I only have leaves and apples boy and steal them and then you will have money and you will be happy and so I'm just the tree a carry them away and the tree was happy but the boys stayed away for a long time and the tree was sad then one day we came back and the tree said with joy and she said some boy reasons to be happy what time is it to climb tree you said the boy I want a house to keep me warm you said and I want to watch and I want children I need a house can you give me a house I have no house that the tree the forest is my house but you may cut off by branches and Bill. then you will be happy the boy all her branches and the tree was happy but the boys stayed away for a long time and when he came back the tree was so happy she could hardly speak come she whisper to old and too sad to play said the boy I want a boat that will take me far away from here cut down my tree and make a boat said the tree so the boy cat down there and made a boat and sailed away and the tree was happy but not really the boy came back again I'm sorry boy said the tree I have nothing left to give you my all my teeth are too weak or apple said the boy my branches are gone said the tree has gone said the tree you cannot I am too tired to climb that the boy I'm sorry side the tree I wish I could give you something but I have nothing left. And I'm sorry did the quiet place to see it and I am very tired well said the tree straightening up herself as much as she could well. Is good for sitting and for resting down and rest and the boys did and the tree was happy a ant there's lots of different messages that you probably could get from this book and I want you to think about the story and I want you to think about for a few minutes what do you think Learned was from the book was what lesson did you learn from this The Giving Tree said very important to give to others and be kind to others and appreciative we sure do love and appreciate you all to think about this book say go pick you up a bit that you enjoy take some time and read it or read with someone or reached or contact one of us then we'll zoom and read with you we love you bye
