Winston-Salem is 40 miles, Charlotte is 75 miles; and Greensboro is 65 miles away. Situated in the southwest corner of Surry County, with city limits adjoining both Yadkin and Wilkes Counties, Elkin serves approximately 40,000 people in a 20-mile radius trade area.
